Whether relaxing at the bar watching one of our four big screen TV’s, enjoying an elegant meal in the restaurant, or to help celebrate that special occasion, Buckley’s is your place. Come on by and meet your new friends – they’re already here! Featuring live music, cold drinks, delicious food, and a friendly atmosphere, we also regularly offer appetizer and beer specials in the bar. Come watch the game with us! History Buckley’s is family owned and operated, and has been a Brooklyn favorite for locals for over 40 years. Jimmy and Kathleen Buckley opened Buckley’s Tavern in 1972 with one important goal in mind – to treat both their staff and guests as if they were family. Just ask our staff. Many have been working with us for decades! Over the years, Buckley’s expanded from a Tavern with just four tables and a small bar, to a Restaurant, Bar, and Catering Hall. Today, two of Jimmy and Kathleen’s children keep everything running. Under the watchful eye of Kathleen, Christine and Jimmy work hard to keep the dream of their parents alive by keeping Buckley’s the gathering place of choice for our Brooklyn family and friends.
