The Emily Hotel

Our name, a nod to renowned 19th century artist, Emily Carr, who inspired the belief that art can change the way we look at the world. We’ve recently set down roots in Chicago’s Fulton Market with plans to curate a uniquely fresh hospitality experience with spaces for locals and visitors alike to collaborate, celebrate and feel inspired. Like any masterpiece, the creative process takes a little time. Over the coming months we’ll be rolling out updates to our new home and introducing fresh dining concepts while continuing to provide guests with a welcoming stay in Chicago. Boasting 159 modern minimalist rooms and suites, The Emily features a Coffee Bar serving locally roasted Sparrow Coffee, over 7,300 sqft of meeting and event space, and an Artist in Residence program celebrating local artists through on property curated activations and a collection of unique pieces throughout the hotel. Throughout the warmer months, catch classic films and new releases on the 5th floor rooftop of the hotel at Rooftop Cinema Club Fulton Market. Opening June 2022, the hotel's rooftop cocktail bar Selva invites you sip into the sunset with a line-up of craft cocktails and casual fare set in a stylishly moody space. And, arriving summer 2022, Fora will open on the hotel's ground floor - a Mexican-inspired seafood-forward restaurant.
