Fork Cancer Event

The American Cancer Society, Fork Cancer Bay Area is the Associate Board of Ambassadors (ABOA) annual party with a purpose, it took place at The Midway in San Francisco. This event showcased the San Francisco Bay Area's deeply inclusive culture by bringing together diverse cuisine and entertainment in order to benefit the American Cancer Society. We recognized and celebrated the fundraising efforts of our Tastemakers, a group of well-connected and philanthropic emerging leaders in the Bay Area who were nominated by their peers to be one of the faces at our Fork Cancer event. They serve as an extension of the American Cancer Society to advocate for its mission to end cancer as we know it, for everyone. All funds raised through this event went towards the mission of the American Cancer Society, including research and patient support services, with a portion going directly to transportation and lodging grants for Bay Area patients.
