From Empire Entertainment
Empire produced the inaugural Catholic Charities Virtual Gala hosted by Lynda Baquero, NBC 4, New York, to engage and thank supporters from the greater New York area. Empire worked alongside Catholic Charities of Archdiocese of New York to develop and produce a heart-warming script, original video production and run of show for the program which featured His Eminence, Timothy Michael Cardinal Dolan, Archbishop of New York; Monsignor Kevin Sullivan, Executive Director of Catholic Charities; and Eugene McQuade, Catholic Charities Board of Trustees Chairman.
The program was livestreamed on an elegant microsite with a royal and scintillant theme at 7pm ET and offered moving video features emphasizing messages of giving help and creating hope that underscored the incredible efforts and tireless work put in by volunteers and members of Catholic Charities New York to support underserved communities throughout New York.
Highlighting community and youth services, the evening incorporated testimonials and interviews from program directors, volunteers, youth and family advocates, the stories of those impacted by the organization’s work, and imagery from community centers and emergency food programs. This year’s gala focused on programs like Feeding Our Neighbors, providing nearly 900,000 meals to those in need since March through a wide network of pop-up food pantries aiding communities with food and even cash assistance throughout the pandemic.
