Mini Golf on the Plaza

Denver International Airport brought back WOW Entertainment to continue on the previous year's success with an even more challenging & entertaining course than in 2018. The continuation of the extended wait times at the Denver International Airport continuing to rise due to weather as well as TSA restrictions, this (18) hole branded mini golf activation was installed for (30) days from the middle of June through the middle part of July. This mini golf activation which was fully staffed for (9) hours per day provided those stranded at the airport with an opportunity to unwind regarding their travel woes. Each hole was specifically designed and no (2) holes were the same. Mini Golf holes included putting up ramps, over bumps, angling shots around water and into the final hole which was a branded Skee-Ball hole. Flags for each hole were color matched to Denver International Airport's colors. New challenges were created for the 2019 activation including a 12 foot elevated rail bridge, a double elevated fairway hole and an elevated slope fairway. With an attendance figure that exceeded 11,000 and local Denver residents coming out to the airport just to play mini golf, Denver International Airport had over 20,000 impressions on social media and a 99% satisfaction rating on the activation.
