Bio: Scott Andrew James is a poet who believes in everyday magic. His work explores the nature of transformation and the healing power of creativity. He performs watercolor & typewriter poetry across the country, creating poems in the moment by request. He uses a 1946 Smith-Corona typewriter, high-quality and handmade papers, and brilliant watercolors. His work has taken him all over the United States, including Austin’s SxSW Interactive festival, Portland’s World Domination Summit, Columbus’ Summit of Greatness, and Frost Bank’s Opt for Optimism series. He lives in Austin, Texas with his wife, daughter, and their pug.
