NDC 50th Anniversary Celebration

• FIRST-EVER GALA TO BE HELD AT THIS HISTORIC LANDMARK • GLOW GLOBAL TEAM REWORKED VENUE INTERIOR CONSIDERABLY TO PULL OFF SEAMLESS EVENING With NDC’s 50th Anniversary Celebration, Glow Global Events proved that any venue – even a historic theatre – can serve as the perfect place for a memorable event. The gala was held January 30 at Brooklyn’s Kings Theatre and was the first event of its kind to take place behind the theatre doors. Though the theatre is already breathtaking and went through an extensive multimillion-dollar renovation four years ago, the Glow Global Events team had to get creative to transform it into the ideal event space. They removed all seats in the orchestra section of the venue and placed tables and seating to accommodate all attendees. 400 guests gathered to celebrate NDC’s longstanding commitment to creating jobs, building affordable housing, and improving quality of life in underserved communities across all 50 states and Puerto Rico. Throughout the night, Discover Bank President James J. Roszkowski, BB&T Bank, and CohnReznick were also recognized for their contribution to the communities they serve. And, NDC announced an all-new $300,000 loan fund for women- and minority-owned small businesses.
