Tuscany on the Shores of Tahoe

The fun-loving and relaxed couple dreamt of an enchanted forest wedding and with help from Merrily Wed, were able to score the perfect location and event design. Whites, ivories and golds contrasted the organic venue, but it was the striking emerald green that stole the show, making the big day both beautiful and unique. The enchanting green tones were carried throughout the wedding, especially highlighted in Ali's exquisite bouquet. “This nature-inspired green bouquet ties in shades and textures of green foliages and flowers. Peonies, 'Green Trick' dianthus, dusty miller, brake fern and hanging amaranthus compliment beautifully with the Tahoe scenery,” says Audrey M Chaney of Botanica Events. The waterfront ceremony was accompanied by sweeping lake views and endless shades of green, a seamless continuation of the floral decor. Hints of gold in the floral arrangements and strung lights around the dock made the ceremony twinkle with romance. Inspiration for the couple's reception was gathered straight from nature itself and included moss, ferns, succulents, mushroom accents and foliage galore. Individual succulents served as dainty place card holders on the dining tables. Mismatched chairs added the perfect eclectic vibe while refined gold and simple glassware exhibited sophistication, a lovely blend of styles that enhanced the mystical decor. Guests were treated to a plethora of desserts by Sugar Pine Cakery to top of an elegant celebration of the newlyweds.
