2019 Debutante Ball

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Epsilon Eta Omega Chapter 18th Scholarship Cotillion Ball More than 200 people came to the DoubleTree by Hilton Pomona March 30, 2019 to watch young women during an evening entitled: “Precious Pearls with Poise and Purpose”. These women had months of community service and preparation The majestic and memorable culminating event featured various dances, and were elegantly and smoothly performed by the debutantes, escorts, and presenters, to such classic tunes as “Waltz of the Flowers”, and modern renditions of “My Girl” and “Isn’t She Lovely?” Adhering to the mission of PEARLS of Service, Inc., a charitable arm of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc, Epsilon Eta Omega Chapter, the Debutantes were awarded thousands of dollars for scholarships along with other awards to include essay writing, community service, and salesmanship. The music was by “DJ Sassy B.” Music was provided during the event and after the event to celebrate the debut of the. “Precious Pearls with Poise and Purpose”.
