ATB Prosper which is an online investment experience was looking for a way to promote the simplicity of it’s app while creating an experiential program that supported its ad campaign and spoke to and connected with millenials. How does a financial institution successfully connect with millennials and get them excited about investing? Naturally by creating amazing experiences that one couldn’t imagine missing out on. Wildfire Experiential and Event Marketing worked closely with ATB Financial to develop and execute an experiential activation to show millenials how to have fun while they invest - Ski Mount Simple. Via an online entry supported by social media, people were invited to enter for their chance to win a spot on the ATB Prosper bus and be whisked away to the Rockies for a day of shredding at Ski Mount Simple. Winners were asked to download the ATB Prosper app which gave them access to a day full of surprise and delight elements including free lift passes, a catered private VIP lounge, on-hill instant prize giveaways via the prize ski unicorn, rocking après ski party with live entertainment, and endless SWAG and prizes including Herschel backpacks, S’well water bottles, GoPros and more. ATB Prosper Advisors were also on hand to chat about investing and the ATB prosper app. The activations resulted in over 350 photos on Instagram with hashtag #skimountsimple and #atbprosper along with a heightened level of awareness and increased brand love for ATB Financial.
